1. Who we are
ammaBe (“ammaBe”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a pregnancy and parenting companion experience through the website at ammabe.com and related applications. This policy applies to personal information processed when you visit our site, create an account, use trackers, read guides, participate in community features, or interact with the ammaBe AI companion.
2. Information we collect
Account & profile information
When you register or complete onboarding, we may collect your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and journey details you choose to provide—such as pregnancy stage, due date, last menstrual period, birth date, language preference, and related profile settings.
Health & wellbeing logs you submit
If you use trackers, you may store information such as mood, symptoms, water intake, sleep, weight, blood pressure, glucose, kick counts, contractions, feeding, diapers, and similar entries. This information is provided by you and is used to power your personal journey experience.
AI chat content
Messages you send to the ammaBe AI companion, and the replies generated, may be stored so you can revisit conversations and so we can operate, secure, and improve the feature. See AI companion below.
Community content
If you post or comment in the community, that content (and related metadata such as timestamps) is collected and may be visible to other users according to how the community feature works.
Technical & usage data
We automatically collect limited technical information needed to run the service securely, such as IP address, browser type, device information, approximate request timing, and cookies or similar technologies used for authentication and basic preferences (for example, keeping you signed in).
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and personalize the ammaBe experience (including week-by-week context and trackers);
- Authenticate accounts and protect against unauthorized access, abuse, and fraud;
- Operate AI companion replies and related rate limits / safety controls;
- Enable community features and moderation;

We do not sell your personal health information. We do not sell personal data for advertising purposes.
4. AI companion
When you use ammaBe AI, your prompts may be processed by our systems and by trusted third-party AI infrastructure providers acting on our behalf to generate a response. Those providers process content only to deliver the feature under contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service.
AI replies are informational and supportive only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional. If you believe you may be experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services or your clinician immediately.
6. Storage & retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or security requirements. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us (see below). Some limited records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security and fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and session protections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong unique password and sign out on shared devices.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete certain personal information, or to object to / restrict certain processing. You can update much of your profile information in the app. To make a privacy request, email support@ammabe.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
You may also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling authentication cookies may prevent you from remaining signed in.
9. Children
ammaBe is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International users
ammaBe may be operated from servers and service providers located in different countries. If you access the service from outside those locations, you understand that your information may be processed in countries that may have different data-protection rules than your own.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of ammaBe after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
