1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using ammaBe (the website at ammabe.com, related apps, and services), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and legally able to enter a binding agreement.
2. The service
ammaBe offers informational pregnancy and parenting tools, including trackers, educational guides, community discussion features, and an AI companion. Features may change, be added, or be discontinued as we improve the product.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ammaBe for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
3. Not medical advice
ammaBe is not a healthcare provider. Content on the site—including articles, trackers, community posts, and AI responses—is for general information and personal organization only. It does not create a doctor–patient relationship and must not be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of your physician, midwife, or other qualified health provider with questions about a medical condition, pregnancy, birth, or postpartum care. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or received through ammaBe. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency facility.
4. Accounts & security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and update it as needed. Notify us promptly at support@ammabe.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, appear compromised, or create risk to the service or other users.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ammaBe for unlawful, harmful, harassing, abusive, or deceptive purposes;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
- Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service, including AI endpoints;
- Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions;
- Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- Use the service to provide clinical care to others or to replace professional medical judgment.
6. Community content
If you post in the community, you retain ownership of your content, but you grant ammaBe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the service.
You are solely responsible for what you post. Do not share others’ private health information without permission. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is unsafe, illegal, or abusive. Community posts reflect individual opinions and are not endorsed by ammaBe as medical guidance.
7. AI features
AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. You agree to use AI features cautiously and to verify important information with qualified professionals. We may apply usage limits and safety filters. Attempts to abuse AI features (including automated extraction of responses at scale) are prohibited.
8. Intellectual property
ammaBe branding, product design, software, and editorial materials (excluding user-generated community content) are owned by ammaBe or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials except as allowed by these Terms or with prior written permission.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content (including AI output) will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMMABE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO AMMABE FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50, IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY AMOUNTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using ammaBe at any time. We may suspend or end access to the service (in whole or in part) if you violate these Terms, if required for security or legal reasons, or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual-property terms) will survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where ammaBe primarily operates the service, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes, subject to such mandatory protections.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If you continue using ammaBe after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
